Meet the Team

Creating a Lifetime of Healthy Smiles

Sandra CarrieroSandra Carriero – Director of Operations
I have been a part of the Seaway Family Dental team since March 2013. I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, and completed my M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry at Yale University in 1998 and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at McGill University in 2003. I spent 9 years in various scientific roles, most currently as a Scientific Director at an international preclinical research organization. In this role, I lead and managed a dynamic team of more than 20 staff who were directing drug development programs for a number of clients in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors. My transition to the dental field has been extremely rewarding, allowing me to continually embrace a wonderful team environment and supporting others while maintaining a strong sense of accountability and responsibility for myself. My ultimate goal within the practice is to contribute to the highest standards in overall patient care by creating an environment that is supportive, informative and positive, all the while ensuring that our patients expectations are exceeded. The Seaway Family Dental team are a remarkable group of individuals, who all share one common goal – over-delivering to our patients every day and providing the highest quality care and experience to each and every patient that walks into our practice. One a personal note, I am a proud mother to two wonderful little girls, Gabriella and Alexandra and have been very happily married for over 10 years to my life and soul-mate.
